Having had a small introductory workshop about how to use photoshop, we decided to take matters into our own hands and develop these essential skills ourselves. To help us do so, we took to the internet to find some online tutorials about the basics of photoshop.
A video that I found particularly useful is the one linked below. It talks briefly about the essential skills of photoshop, and reinforced what we already knew having taking part in a workshop.
We then went on to watch part 2 of the video series. This was also very useful as they went into slightly more depth about the different effects that we could use and actually put into practise in our work.
To consolidate our knowledge, we put these skills to the test by having a go at editing for ourselves.
